Just Say No To To's Show

Terrell Owens just can’t get enough of, “Lovin Me some Me”.

The Buffalos Bills wide receiver is doing his best to stay on the television 24/7/365.

It started with Jerry Jones cutting him following the Dallas Cowboys’ collapse during the regular season and first round exit from the playoffs.

Next, the Bills signed the outspoken receiver to a one-year $6.5 million deal.

After that, Owens had an embarrassing moment on television while he was on ABC’s new show “The Superstars”.

Owens and his teammate super model Joanna Krupa, became the first pair eliminated from the competition. After which, Krupa gave Owens a tongue-lashing that was priceless.

But, even at that moment, Owens still managed to generate enough buzz for VH1 to offer him his own show.

This is unbelievable. If you look at the promo picture for the show, you might vomit all over yourself like I did.

Really VH1? I mean the programming that ya’ll have is so tasteful to begin with, but to give him a show just goes to show how ridiculous the media is today. Well, at least the media on television.

Why should he get an opportunity to be viewed by so many people? He is nothing more than a self-promoting cancer that has me is feeling dumber and angrier every time I hear him talk.

It is the perfect example of how the athlete has changed so much today.

When was the last time you heard of a player that took a pay-cut so that management could keep a team together for more than two seasons?

I want my athletes to be what they used to be, to remember that not everyone gets the chance and opportunity to play a professional sport for a living. Remember that without fans there would be no athletes.

Maybe instead of doing a reality show and adding as much time to his 15 minutes of fame as he can, Owens should give back to the game that has brought him so much.

Where would TO be without football? Most likely, nowhere we would know.
