Gipson Diagnosed With Concussion
Mike Pettine later discussed how Gipson suffered the concussion and his status for Week 11, via Cabot and Tom Reed of Cleveland.com:
Depending on how much time Gipson could miss, this is a significant blow to Cleveland's defense. He leads the NFL with six interceptions and has added 42 combined tackles and a forced fumble.
The Browns haven't taken off on the defensive side after all their offseason additions, but Gipson has grown into one of the best free safeties in the league during his three years. The Browns host the Houston Texans, who are starting Ryan Mallett for the first time, in Week 11 before traveling to Atlanta to face the Falcons in Week 12.
