Jamaal Charles, Knile Davis' Instant Fantasy Reaction After Week 10

It only takes one play.

Facing the tough Buffalo bills defense, Jamaal Charles had a difficult time getting anything going in the first half, generally finding the going tough on Sunday. Of course, he isn't the first—and won't be the last—to struggle against one of the top defensive lines in football.  

Of course, with one 39-yard touchdown run, a tough afternoon became a great one for fantasy owners.

Charles had eight or more fantasy points in six straight games. It's safe to say that when he is one the field, he's a no-questions-asked RB1. Even a bad game here or there isn't going to change that.

Plus, Charles is always one big play away from turning a bad afternoon into a great one as we saw on Sunday. Simply put, he's one of the most explosive players in football, and a long scoring run is never out of the question.

Davis, meanwhile, is unquestionably talented but should continue to only be considered as a handcuff. The Kansas City offense is The Charles Show when he's healthy. Davis will probably have a starting gig at some point in the NFL, but it's not going to come at the expense of Charles getting touches anytime soon.
