NASCAR at Phoenix 2014: Live Results and Analysis from the Quicken Loans 500
Winner at Phoenix: Kevin Harvick!
The race at Phoenix started out with Denny Hamlin leading, but as has been the story of Toyota all season, Hamlin soon faded and couldn't catch up after getting a flat tire right after going to pit road during the first caution of the race. He would go on to lose a lap and have to battle his way back.
He eventually recovered from falling to the back, but was lapped again as the race continued.

Kevin Harvick and the 4 team quickly emerged as the top group at Phoenix as Harvick was able to get out in front early and held his lead by the time the race was halfway over.
Joey Logano was also one of the top drivers at the begining of the Quicken Loans 500, but a penatly on pit road put the 22 in the back of the field and he was eventually lapped by Kevin Harvick on Lap 183.
By Lap 207 both Logano and Hamlin had made it onto the lead lap thanks to a string of cautions.
An accident involving Kyle Busch brought out a red flag at Phoenix, as NASCAR decided to stop the race while they cleaned up the track instead of wasting laps under yellow to clean the debris.
But as certain Chase drivers struggled, others like Harvick and Brad Keselowski thrived when the race went back to green.
Keselowski pushed his was to second before another caution came out, but the 2 car was one of the fastest cars on the track.
By Lap 243 10 caution flags had waved at Phoenix and all 8 Chase drivers were in the top 12.
The race stayed green until about Lap 287 when a caution for debris came out. It wouldn't be the last caution of the night though, as the Chase drivers scrambled for better position.
Once the race went back to green Harvick stayed out in front and never looked back.
Jeff Gordon was ready to make it into the final race at Homestead, but as Kyle Larson hit the wall on the last lap Ryan Newman made it into the final four by one point.
