
Tyler Eifert Injury: Updates on Bengals TE's Recovery from Dislocated Elbow
Cincinnati Bengals tight end Tyler Eifert hasn't played since dislocating his elbow in Week 1. As it turns out, that could prove to be the extent of his contributions for the 2014 season.
According to Paul Dehner Jr. of The Cincinnati Enquirer, head coach Marvin Lewis revealed Friday that the second-year player could be out for the remainder of the season:

Eifert was placed on injured reserve with a designation to return after suffering the injury. He seemed to be making progress, and Dehner speculated that a return for Week 11 against the New Orleans Saints could be possible:
That is now far from a given, which is demoralizing news for Bengals fans, especially after watching their offense struggle in an embarrassing 24-3 home loss to the Cleveland Browns on Sunday.
