Serbian Model Claudia Romani Gives Up Modelling to Become Italian Referee

Not a huge fan of Italian football? Claudia Romani is attempting to give fans worldwide another reason to pay attention. 

Romani, 32, a Serbian model and beauty queen in Italy, is giving up her modelling career to pursue a career as a professional referee. 

She has already gone through the proper channels and has earned the refereeing credentials to officially be eligible to referee a Serie A or Serie B match. 

Experience isn't yet in her favour, so it's unlikely we'll see her in charge of a Derby d'Italia in the near future, but she's now eligible to do so.
