Piers Morgan Offers to Pay £50m to Bring Vincent Kompany to Arsenal
Piers Morgan is rarely more vocal on Twitter than when he is criticising his beloved Arsenal.
The former tabloid editor has been venting his fury in the aftermath of Arsenal's 3-3 draw with Anderlecht, lamenting how Arsene Wenger could have allowed his side to fritter away a three-goal lead and guaranteed progression to the Champions League knockout stages.

When Manchester City's Vincent Kompany commented on Anderlecht's incredible comeback, he was harassed by the former CNN host.
"3 more years, £25m more in salary...#Wenger
— Piers Morgan (@piersmorgan) November 4, 2014"
At this point, Morgan made an unusual offer. Apparently he is personally willing to spend £50 million to bring the big Belgian to the Emirates to provide some stability.
This is almost certainly a cheeky joke, but it does raise the chilling possibility that we may live in a world where Piers Morgan has a spare £50 million sitting around.
