Why The Seahawks Are a Perfect Fit For Michael Vick

Unless you have been living in a cave you now know that Michael Vick has been conditionally reinstated in the NFL.  It is time for the waiting game and see you will take a shot at what once was one of the most exciting players in the NFL.

For many reasons the Seattle Seahawks are a perfect fit for the once Pro Bowl QB.  We all know that some teams may also be a good fit, but I will tell you why the Seahawks are the better fit.

Lets start with the coach and that would be Jim Mora Jr.  The two have a relationship together in there time in Atlanta which also includes a trip to the NFC Championship game.  Mora knows first hand what Vick can bring and will be able to utilize his talents to its fullest.

Next we look at the QB situation in Seattle.  Starting they have Matt Hasselbeck who isn't getting any younger and has been having back trouble.  Behind him you got back-up Seneca Wallace.  You have the opportunity to slowly get Vick ready for football and in a year or two maybe take over if Hasselbeck cannot start anymore.

One more reason Vick will fit well in Seattle is what they have been running.  We have seen in the past Seneca Wallace line up at positions other than QB.  Vick is more explosive than Wallace and Seattle can use that to there advantage.

We all can agree that Vick is an exceptional athlete who can add speed to any teams roster.  Whether Vick can still be starter remains to be seen, but in Seattle he can get on the field right away and may be able to work himself into the starters role.
