Miller Dealing With Shoulder, Knee Injuries
According to James Walker of ESPN, Miller's had a lingering shoulder issue, but the knee is new.
He hasn't been injury-prone throughout his career, though this season has taken a physical toll on him. The 23-year-old did suffer a concussion in Week 13 last year against the Pittsburgh Steelers, but he returned to play the next game against the New England Patriots.
Despite the addition of Knowshon Moreno in the offseason, even before he was lost for the season, Miller started every game and was producing at the highest level of his career. He did suffer a shoulder issue in Miami's win over the San Diego Chargers in Week 9, but he told Adam Beasley of The Miami Herald afterward that he "should be good."
Considering how well the Dolphins have played and how integral Miller has been to that success, they better hope this is another case where he is good with treatment. Miami is already thin at running back and can't afford anymore injuries at the position.
