Bayern Munich will be in a joyous mood as they approach this week's Champions League action, following a strong 2-1 win over Bundesliga rivals Borussia Dortmund on Saturday evening. 

Pep Guardiola's side may have gone a goal down at first but they were able to turn the game around to pick up all three points and maintain a fantastic start to the season. 

Yet, as we move into November, the inevitable rumours and transfer stories surrounding the German giants will continue to pick up pace and regularity. Prepare yourself; the January transfer window news rumours are coming.

The latest young star to be linked with the Bavarian giants is none other than Benfica player Goncalo Guedes, appropriately dubbed by some sections of the media as the "new Franck Ribery."

Although the 17-year-old has been linked with a number of top clubs around Europe, German newspaper TZ suggested that the youngster was on his way to Munich in an unsourced article. 

This was later translated and covered by talkSPORT on October 28, and then by the Express on the following day. However, both reports suggest that Premier League side Arsenal are just as close to signing the Portuguese. 

Despite looking like no more than a simple case of a bright, young star getting linked to a top club, it was certainly worth noting before the story really grew legs.
