Manchester City Transfer News and Rumours Tracker: Week of November 3
Manchester City are rarely out of the news these days, with their presence in the transfer gossip columns as strong as ever as the January transfer window edges ever closer.
City, who have some money to play with despite the UEFA net spend restriction, could well make a move for a player or two to bolster their squad.
There could be exits, too. Surely Scott Sinclair and Matija Nastasic have instructed their agents to find them a new club, given their limited playing time?
Here's our roundup of all the gossip concerning City.
Reus Interest Firming Up
1 of 3
According to a report by Ralph Ellis in the Mail, City are set to battle it out with Bayern Munich, their Champions League Group E rivals, for the signing of Marco Reus this summer.
The Borussia Dortmund winger is said to have a release of clause of just £19.5 million in his current contract. A deal in January is extremely unlikely, but it seems Dortmund have privately accepted he will leave in the summer, with City and Bayern seen as leading the chase.
Steven Gerrard a City Target?
2 of 3
According to Joe Bernstein in the Daily Mail, Manuel Pellegrini could be plotting a move for Liverpool midfielder Steven Gerrard, whose contract at Anfield runs out this summer.
If Gerrard fails to agree a new deal, City are thought to be set to pounce. The 34-year-old has no plans to retire, and after the success of the Frank Lampard signing, Pellegrini may be tempted to add another veteran to his ranks.
Terence Kongolo Set for £3 Million City Move
3 of 3
The Daily Star's Paul Hetherington has reported that City have joined the race to sign Terence Kongolo.
The Feyenoord centre-back, who has the capability to operate at left-back, is thought to be available for around £3 million.
Having already signed his younger brother, Rodney, City may well be favourites to land the 20-year-old.
