Arsenal's main aim for the January transfer window must be to secure a new centre-back.
The good news is that one of their supposed targets, Fabian Schar, sounds open to the prospect of a January switch.
Speaking to Swiss paper Blick (h/t the Daily Mirror), Schar said:
"My dream remains to have an experience abroad. I've always said that if the opportunity presented itself, I would take it, obviously in agreement with Basel. I need a team with important prospects. I'd like the Bundesliga, Premier League or top Italian clubs like Inter, Milan and Juventus. I couldn't say no. I want to hear all my options and consider them carefully.
"
Schar's physical presence and positional discipline would be an excellent addition Arsene Wenger's defensive retinue.
