Ancelotti's Agent to Meet with Real Madrid
Marca.com's Staff reported details surrounding the likely meeting:
"In the coming days a first meeting will be held between the Real Madrid higher-ups andCarlo Ancelotti's agents to discuss renewing the coach's contract.
The club is delighted with Ancelotti and the feeling is mutual, which explains why there has been a move to start negotiations - which had originally been expected to begin in January - early. There is even talk of possibly announcing the new deal before the end of 2014.

Reports Surface Ancelotti is Set to Receive a New Contract
The Italian boss captured La Decima and the Copa del Rey during his first season with Los Blancos. According to AS and via football writer Nicholas Rigg, such success has led to contract negotiations:
Tomas Roncero of AS also writes that talks are "underway." He suggests Madrid are "delighted" with Ancelotti's work and will offer the manager a "one or two-year contract extension." This would keep the experienced coach at the club until 2017 or 2018, providing him with plenty of time to assert his influence over the side's long-term future.
Ancelotti admitted there is no rush prior to Madrid's fixture with Liverpool, per AS:
The coach previously confirmed he is willing to remain at the Bernabeu. "It's been a year and a half since I arrived and I am fine with everything," he said, per Roncero. "I want to renew, but we both have to agree. I would like to finish my career here."

It's easy to see why Florentino Perez and the Madrid board want to maintain Ancelotti's presence

A contract extension appears logical, as Madrid continue to develop and improve under Ancelotti. He has plenty of young players to integrate and will be pivotal to the future output of Rodriguez, Isco and talented starlets such as Jese Rodriguez.
The axe is often heavy at the Bernabeu, but after the turmoil of Jose Mourinho's reign, Ancelotti is set to be rewarded for restoring order and discipline to the famous side.
