
USMNT Watch: Goals from Terrence Boyd and Sacha Kljestan Lead the Way
It was an up-and-down week for Americans playing abroad with Terrence Boyd and Sacha Kljestan picking up goals, but with many United States men's national team players sitting the bench for their respective clubs.
Back on the positive side of things, Danny Williams and Aron Johannsson made their long-awaited returns from injury and Rubio Rubin picked up a nice assist in Eredivisie action.
There's also news regarding a possible move for Alejandro Bedoya.

Geoff Cameron started once again for Stoke City, this time at right-back, as the Potters drew West Ham 2-2.
Brad Guzan and Aston Villa lost 2-1 to Tottenham. Guzan finished with five saves.
Tim Howard and Everton tied 0-0 against Swansea.
Jozy Altidore's Sunderland play Crystal Palace on Monday.

Timmy Chandler went 90 minutes in Eintracht Frankfurt's 1-0 loss to Hannover.
Fabian Johnson was on the bench, but did not play in Borussia Monchengladbach's 3-1 win over Hoffenheim.
John Anthony Brooks was on the bench as Hertha Berlin lost 3-1 to Paderborn.
Julian Green was not in the squad for Hamburger SV this weekend.
Joe Gyau (Borussia Dortmund) is out injured.
In 2. Bundesliga, Terrence Boyd's RB Leipzig won't play until Monday, but Boyd did score a goal in midweek German Cup action on Wednesday.
Andrew Wooten played 90 minutes in Sandhausen's 1-1 draw with Karlsruhe. Alfredo Morales played the first half of Ingolstadt's 0-0 draw with Fortuna Dusseldorf.
Bobby Wood was not in the squad for 1860 Munich.
In the English Championship
Tim Ream played 90 minutes at left-back for Bolton in their 2-1 loss to Norwich.
Eric Lichaj started and went 60 minutes for Nottingham Forest in their 3-0 loss to Huddersfield.
Brek Shea played the final 26 minutes of Birmingham's 0-0 draw with Wolves. Will Packwood was not in the squad for the Blues. Jonathan Spector is still out injured.
Danny Williams was finally back in action after a long injury layoff, playing the final 14 minutes of Reading's 3-1 loss to Blackburn.
Emerson Hyndman did not get off the bench in Fulham's 3-3 draw against Wigan.
Elsewhere in Europe
Rubio Rubin picked up an assist in Utrecht's 3-1 win over Vitesse.
Aron Johannsson made his first league start of the 2014-15 campaign and played 90 minutes in AZ Alkmaar's 3-3 draw with Excelsior.
Sacha Kljestan didn't get off the bench for Anderlecht this weekend, but did score a goal midweek in their 3-2 win over Kortrijk.
Mix Diskerud played 86 minutes in Rosenborg's 1-0 win over Odd Ballklubb.
Alejandro Bedoya played the final 25 minutes of Nantes' 1-1 draw with Rennes, but his time with Nantes could be coming to a close. Goal.com's Ives Galarcep reported this week that Bedoya could be leaving this January after talks over a new contract have broken down.
Josh Gatt (Molde) is out injured.
South of the Border
Jose Torres and Herculez Gomez both started in Tigres' 1-0 win over Queretaro. Torres played 90 minutes; Gomez was pulled at halftime.
Greg Garza started and went the distance for Tijuana as they lost 1-0 to Toluca. Paul Arriola came on in the 82nd minute for the Xolos. Joe Corona is out injured.
Michael Orozco played 90 minutes in Puebla's 1-1 draw with Pachuca.
Edgar Castillo went the distance in Atlas' 4-0 loss to Leon.
Ventura Alvarado was not in the squad for America.
Alonso Hernandez was not in the squad for Monterrey.
