However, prior to the game, Russini confirmed Silas Redd was inactive due to the accident:
The team is certainly hoping for an eventful day, but not before it even got to the stadium. Coming off a 20-17 overtime victory against the division-rival Dallas Cowboys and with the return of Robert Griffin III at quarterback, Washington has plenty of reason for optimism.
While the team's 3-5 start to the season in Jay Gruden's first year at the helm has been disappointing, winnable matchups against the Vikings and Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the next two weeks gives the team a great chance at getting back to .500.
Thankfully, it appears no players, coaches or staff members were injured in the morning's accident.
