Everton center back Antolin Alcaraz was forced to leave the club's clash with Swansea before halftime due to an apparent shoulder injury.

The club noted the early exit for the veteran Paraguayan:

Alcaraz was injured after a challenge by Wilfried Bony and couldn't continue. The full extent of the ailment won't be known until further evaluation is complete. It's not promising for a Toffees squad that's already had some issues defending in the early portion of the campaign.
