In further tribute to his mentor, he saddled Bobby's Kitten, named after Frankel, to win the Turf Sprint and brought his win total to three Breeders' Cup wins this year.
Texas Red stamped himself as a horse to watch on the Kentucky Derby trail for next year. With a stunning win from off the pace, he showed a great deal of professionalism and talent to hold off a talented Carpe Diem.
Judy the Beauty, the bridesmaid to Groupie Doll last year, got her moment in the spotlight with a big run from off the pace to win the Filly and Mare Sprint.
In the Turf, Main Sequence remained perfect in the United States. After a subpar career in Europe, he found a new lease on life in Graham Motion's barn and capped off a flawless season.
The Sprint went to a horse from humble beginnings, Work All Day.
