Smith Suffers Groin Injury
Smith could also miss additional time with a groin injury he suffered in Seattle's Week 8 win over the Carolina Panthers, per Stephen Cohen of the Seattle Post-Intelligencer. He returned to the game but has been ruled out for this week's contest.
Bruce Irvin is the starter at the position, but he's primarily a pass-rush specialist. Smith is best against the run, so Irvin and Pierre-Louis will need to shine against the Raiders ground attack.
For the season, Smith has 27 tackles and two forced fumbles.
