Reuters has an update on Julian Draxler's status:
"Schalke 04 attacking midfielder Julian Draxler will be out for the rest of the year after picking up a thigh injury in their 1-0 win over Augsburg on Friday, the club said on Saturday.
Germany's talented World Cup winner lasted only 11 seconds from the start of the Bundesliga game, pulling a thigh muscle, with sports director Horst Heldt saying it looked serious.
"He was again injured and it looks like a serious muscle injury," Heldt said. "I do not expect Julian to play any more in this first half of the season."

Julian Draxler's Bundesliga outing against Augsburg on Saturday didn't go as planned, as the Schalke 04 youngster was forced to leave the pitch with an apparent hamstring injury suffered inside the first minute of action.
The Germany international appeared to stretch a muscle as he tried to avoid a tackle and immediately started to limp, signaling to the sidelines he would be unable to continue, as shared by the club's Twitter feed:
A couple of minutes later, he made way for Chinedu Obasi:
BT Sport shared a video of the injury:
After the match, Schalke manager Roberto di Matteo talked about the injury, according to Schalke's official website:
"Losing Julian Draxler extends our injury list even further. It’s a real blow. We’re still waiting on a more concrete diagnosis.
"
The 21-year-old has long been touted as one of the biggest talents the Bundesliga has produced in the past decade and is Schalke's creative engine in midfield. Losing the youngster for an extended period of time would be a massive blow for the Gelsenkirchen outfit.
