The 6-1 Cowboys came into Monday night’s game heavy favorites, but they lost in overtime after a banged up Tony Romo failed to move the ball downfield.
It was a tough defeat to stomach for a recently revitalized fanbase, but no one bore the brunt of defeat more than the home of one particularly angry Dallas fan.
Deadspin’s Samer Kalaf brings us video of a man going on a wholesale demolition derby in his living room in the aftermath of the Cowboys’ Monday Night Football loss. Nothing is safe. Everything must go. Even the kitchen counter.
The destruction starts with an accidental coffee table breaking and quickly snowballs into a college home makeover.
Warning: Video contains strong NSFW language.
On a bright note, no one’s hyoid or sternum was shattered in the making of this stupidity. Conversely, a betta fish probably perished as this man went about the business of embedding one to two pounds of non-safety glass in his bare feet.
Most impressive—and concerning—are his roommates' reactions. They know their friend is about to go Bob the Un-Builder on this home. Everything is about to be rage-stomped into funfetti, so they start taking precautions to safeguard their valuables—namely, bottle caps. It’s like watching pirates shove treasure into a chest before a white squall, except the treasure is an aluminum cry for help, and the squall is an outpouring of unaddressed daddy issues.
Stay safe, Cowboys fans. Support each other. How many guppies must be decapitated before we realize that 6-2 isn’t the end of the world?
