WWE Main Event Results: Winners, Twitter Reaction and Analysis from October 28
Welcome to Bleacher Report's recap of this week's Main Event. Here is where we take a look at what happened on the show, examining the winners, reactions to matches and any possible ramifications coming out of the program.
JBL joined the Main Event commentary team of Michael Cole and Byron Saxon because he would be on vacation when SmackDown airs. Considering the shows are shot on the same night, it seems like a lame excuse to miss Friday's show.
This week's Tuesday night special included some pretty entertaining moments and matches. It's not a show that will stick out in many minds, but it helped in featuring a lot of B-level stars very effectively.

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
Damien Mizdow stole the show once again with his hilarious antics, and the crowd favoring him over The Miz is only making his performances more enjoyable.
Let's take a look at what happened on this week's Main Event.
MizTV
The Miz and Mizdow brought out The Usos to explain why they cheated on Raw by switching places right before the end of the match.
Jimmy and Jey mocked the way Mizdow copies The Miz when he speaks by doing the exact same thing with each other. MizTV segments can be really funny sometimes, and this was one of those times.
The Usos even began to mimic The Miz while he spoke, causing the A-lister to freak out and challenge them to a match, which The Usos gladly accepted.
This was a great way to start the show; The Miz is so good at acting pissed off, and The Usos laughing at him for it made it even funnier.
Grade: B+
Notes and Highlights
- Watching Damien Mizdow mouth the words The Miz is saying is like watching a poorly dubbed Kung Fu movie. It's so awesome.
- Watching them together always reminds me of Ben Stiller and Tom Cruise at the MTV Movie Awards where Stiller played Cruise's stunt double, Tom Crooze.
- Considering this was the most entertaining thing that happened all night, it seems weird that WWE didn't upload it to YouTube with the matches. So instead you get to watch a recent WWE tryout camp. Who knows? Maybe a future WWE champion is in the mix.

The Mizs vs. The Usos
The matches that these two had on Monday might have been a little more exciting, but this bout was better in a lot of ways.
There was a steady pace kept throughout, but the thing that really made this match good was how well everyone played the parts they were given.
The Miz did an excellent job playing the heel, Mizdow did a great job playing his mirror and The Usos gave the kind of performance they always do.
The heels had control for most of the match, which is why the pace was a bit slower, but The Usos had their usual flurry of offense at the end to get the crowd chanting their name.
They nearly got caught, but The Usos managed to pick up the win with the exact same trick they used on Raw.
Winners: The Usos
Grade: B+
Notes and Highlights
- I figured out how to tell The Usos apart. Jimmy always paints the right side of his face, and Jey paints the left side. It only took me several months to figure that out.
- The Miz playing to the crowd, liking Mizdow better than him was great.
- JBL saying The Miz was in line to play The Incredible Hulk was beyond ridiculous, even for him.
- How awesome would it be if The Miz and Mizdow came out dressed like Sandow's intellectual savior to the masses gimmick?

Natalya vs. Paige
Tyson Kidd sat in on commentary while his wife faced the former Divas champion, Paige. He really played up his heel persona, but JBL made it much easier by implying Natalya was the real star in the family.
The match was decent, but the crowd was so dead that it took away from how good these two women are. Paige really proved herself against a veteran technician like Natalya.
Paige even tried to use Natalya's own Sharpshooter against her, but she had to settle for a rollup to win the match.
Winner: Paige
Grade: B-
Notes and Highlights
- JBL prodding Kidd about getting an allowance from Natalya was hilarious.
- Kidd's impersonation of Stu Hart was such a great heel move.
- Paige licking Natalya's face was a little strange.
- There was a close-up of Paige's face right when she was asking Natalya to lift her up during a submission hold. Chalk it up to a bad decision while directing a live show.

A Cryptic Message
A video package played with someone speaking in an intimidating voice and quick cuts of a close-up of that person's eyes. It was very creepy, but it was intriguing at the same time.
It looked like something WWE's editing team would make for Bray Wyatt, but it didn't sound exactly like Wyatt's voice.
If this is a potential debut of a new Superstar, it is already an interesting introduction. Cole and JBL obviously had no idea what to make of it from their reactions, and there was no mention of who the video was for.
Hopefully we find out more about this on SmackDown or Raw next week. Main Event seems like a strange place for the debut of a video like this, but maybe the whole point was to make it something that happened on the WWE Network first.
Bo Dallas vs. Sheamus
Bo Dallas came out and gave a quick promo where he offered his services to both Team Cena and Team Authority at Survivor Series.
This match came about after Dallas failed to defeat Ryback during his open challenge. Dallas felt like he had something to prove, and Sheamus is certainly someone credible enough to prove yourself against.
The problem here is that Dallas is nowhere near the level Sheamus is at in terms of his place on the roster, so a win was out of the question from the start.
Dallas got in quite a bit of offense, but Sheamus was able to finish him off with one quick Brogue Kick. The match was alright, but nobody really gained anything in the end.
Winner: Sheamus
Grade: C-
Notes and Highlights
- Sheamus should keep growing his beard. He would look awesome if he let it get really long.
- JBL comparing the experience of watching Bo Dallas to the experience of watching Michael Jordan debut in the NBA is sacrilege. He seriously might get attacked if he said something like that in Chicago.
