World Cup 2018 Logo Revealed...in Space

With the dust well and truly settled on the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, FIFA are already looking ahead to their showpiece event in 2018.

President Sepp Blatter is in Russia to see the host nation's progress and to help reveal the tournament's official logo.

Keeping things nice and low key, the new design was launched on Tuesday...by cosmonauts in space.

Down on earth, the logo has already inspired plenty of discussion on social media, with users claiming it looks like anything from a gas mask to a three-eyed squid monster...
