The lines for the 2014 edition of WWE's Survivor Series have been drawn, as John Cena will lead Team Cena against Team Authority in a traditional main event at the pay-per-view.
Stephanie McMahon and Triple H revealed the news on the Oct. 27 edition of Raw, which was immediately confirmed by the promotion on Twitter:

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
Less than 24 hours removed from becoming the No. 1 contender for Brock Lesnar's WWE World Heavyweight Championship thanks to a victory over Randy Orton at the Hell in a Cell pay-per-view, Cena is now faced with forming a team to counter the Authority.
The possibilities for the teams are intriguing, to say the least.
After a failed sales pitch to get Cena to turn heel and captain his team, Triple H will look to Seth Rollins, Corporate Kane and a host of others, although the status of Orton is very much a wild card in the coming weeks thanks to his budding beef with Rollins. Speaking of wild cards, keep in mind where and how Bray Wyatt may fit into all of this, too.
As for Cena's team, The Usos, Sheamus and perhaps Dolph Ziggler (who was seen shaking Cena's hand backstage after the promo) and Dean Ambrose make sense, although a returning Roman Reigns is a given, should he be medically cleared.
Cena got right on the recruiting trail after learning of the match, as captured by WWE:
That said, the narrative around Monday's promo and certainly the buildup to the event is Cena's ability to survive the future, so perhaps a surprise selection such as Sami Zayn or younger superstars yet to debut will score spots on one of the teams.
Regardless, fans are in for a treat with a traditional Survivor Series tag match, although its inclusion seemingly implies the top strap will not be defended by Lesnar for the second pay-per-view in a row given Cena's No. 1 contender status.
Survivor Series comes at fans in St. Louis, Missouri (Orton's hometown) on Nov. 23 at the Scottrade Center.
