Lucas Silva

Carlos Carpio of Marca reports that Carlo Ancelotti has contacted his former AC Milan full-back Serginho to seek his opinion on Lucas Silva, whom Real Madrid are considering as a possible replacement for Sami Khedira.

Serginho is currently Milan's head of scouting for South America. He has previously recommended the Cruzeiro midfielder to his employers, but Milan's financial difficulties have prevented them from launching a bid.

Carpio states that Serginho provided Ancelotti with a glowing report on the 21-year-old, describing him as "one of the brightest young talents in Brazil."

He also writes that Madrid would likely face competition from Internazionale and Manchester United if they were to firm up their interest in the midfielder.

Gareth Bale

Chisanga Malata of the Daily Star writes that Manchester United are considering a £90 million swoop for Real Madrid forward Gareth Bale.

He writes that Madrid sources believe Carlo Ancelotti would be willing to authorise Bale's departure after witnessing how well his team have performed during the Welshman's absence through injury.

Malata indicates that United would be willing to offer Bale up to £300,000-a-week to attract him to Old Trafford.

Asier Illarramendi

The AS English Twitter feed reports that AC Milan are interested in loaning either Asier Illarramendi or Isco from Real Madrid in the January transfer window.

"

AC Milan will ask to sign Isco or Asier Illarramendi on loan in January. Would be an odd one if Carlo let Isco go... pic.twitter.com/JpSnv9rssj

— AS English (@English_AS) October 27, 2014"

As they point out, Madrid will almost certainly block a move for Isco following his string of excellent performances in recent weeks.

Therefore, Illarramendi looks the more likely of the pair to join up with the Rossoneri.

However, with Sami Khedira having been consistently linked with a move away from Madrid (most recently by the Daily Star) and midfield cover otherwise lacking, he too will probably stay at the Bernabeu.
