Lorenzo Taliaferro, Justin Forsett's Instant Fantasy Reaction After Week 8
The Baltimore Ravens decided to alter their backfield rotation in Week 8 against the Cincinnati Bengals, as a healthy Bernard Pierce was among the team's inactives. The scratch paved the way for increased touches for running backs Justin Forsett and Lorenzo Taliaferro. The duo didn't disappoint.
Here's how both fared Sunday:
| Justin Forsett | 17 | 68 | 0 | 3 | 17 | 7 |
| Lorenzo Taliaferro | 7 | 27 | 2 | 2 | 42 | 18 |

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Forsett put together a solid performance against a stronger Bengals defense with linebacker Vontaze Burfict back in the fold. The running back's heavy workload reaffirmed the fact that he'll continue to be the primary ball-carrier going forward.
Although, there is one drawback to the ball-carrier's fantasy value. Mike Clay of Fro Football Focus tweeted the ongoing trend:
Despite Forsett's large amount of carries, and his continued stellar average per rush, he should only be considered a RB2 option going forward despite his lack of goal-line work.
Speaking of goal-line work, Taliaferro got plenty of it in Pierce's absence. He scored twice on Sunday, reaching the end zone from eight- and 10-yards out. His limited workload doesn't warrant a start going forward unless he continues to get substantial carries in the red zone. For now, Taliaferro should be relegated to the bench as a handcuff to Forsett.
