Bernard found it difficult to find much room to maneuver, but that didn't stop him from producing another solid performance for his fantasy owners. He continued to get goal-line work on Sunday, leaping into the end zone from one-yard out for his fifth rushing touchdown of the season.
ESPN fantasy writer Tristan H. Cockcroft tweeted Bernard's fantasy update following the score:
Bernard didn't wind up accumulating as large of a workload as he could have on Sunday, leaving the game with a hip injury in the fourth quarter, according to the team's official Twitter account:
Due to Bernard's steady workload out of the backfield, along with his ability to act as a reliable receiver for quarterback Andy Dalton, he should continue to be considered as a high-end RB1 in all fantasy formats.
Hill's workload has significantly decreased since his 15-carry effort in Week 2 against the Atlanta Falcons. While he's found the end zone a few times this season, he's too inconsistent to warrant a start in any fantasy league. Hill should be relegated to the bench, but he does have some nice value as a handcuff to Bernard.
