Matt Forte, Ka'Deem Carey's Instant Fantasy Reaction After Week 8
Like death and taxes, Matt Forte helping your fantasy team is one of life's certainties. Unlike death and taxes, however, we all actually enjoy Forte's fantasy performances.
For the fifth week in a row and sixth time this season, Forte scored double-digit fantasy points on Sunday, this time against the New England Patriots. While the team around him fell apart—the Chicago Bears went into the half trailing 38-7 and eventually lost, 51-23—Forte had already exceeded 100 yards from scrimmage and scored a touchdown in the first 30 minutes.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
The Bears might be crumbling, but Forte continues to produce.
And that means that Ka'Deem Carey remains nothing more than a middle-of-the-road handcuff. Coming into Sunday, Carey had six carries for 21 yards in the last three games. He had one carry for two yards in the first half against New England. If you have a strong team and you're a Forte owner, Carey is worth owning. For everyone else, your bench spot is probably better reserved for a different player.
