Antone Smith has provided some impressive highlights this season, but the Atlanta Falcons will have to compete without him as the running back deals with a neck injury.

The 29-year-old veteran was injured in the team's Week 8 matchup in London against the Detroit Lions and was unable to return, according to the team's Twitter account:

Smith came into the game averaging 8.5 yards per carry and 18.3 yards per reception. While he only has 28 offensive touches on the year, he does have five scores, usually on long plays.

Fortunately for Atlanta, there is plenty of depth at the position with Steven Jackson, Devonta Freeman and Jacquizz Rodgers all getting regular playing time at running back.
