Steven Jackson, Antone Smith, Devonta Freeman's Post-Week 8 Fantasy Reaction
There are a few stats worth looking at when analyzing Atlanta's running backs versus the Detroit Lions in London, but here's the most important one: Four different players were given touches on the afternoon.
Steven Jackson led the way in carries and rushing yards and reached pay dirt, sure, but Devonta Freeman (he also scored a touchdown), Antone Smith and even Jacquizz Rodgers were given touches.
| Steven Jackson | 18 | 60 | 0 | 0 | 1 | 12 |
| Devonta Freeman | 3 | 5 | 1 | 7 | 1 | 6 |
| Jacquizz Rodgers | 1 | 2 | 3 | 28 | 0 | 2 |
| Antone Smith | 3 | 5 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 |

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
One thing to consider is that Smith had to leave the game with a neck injury, per the team's official website:
Monitor Smith's status carefully throughout the week.
Still, Jackson remains the player you want in this backfield. While he's never more than a low-end flex consideration, he's the player seeing the most consistent touches. Yes, a healthy Smith has been a touchdown waiting to happen this year, but his usage is low enough that he's either giving you a 50-yard touchdown or absolutely nothing at all.
If at all possible, avoid this backfield like the plague when it comes to setting your fantasy roster. But if you can't, Jackson remains the player to have.
