Houston Texans vs. Tennessee Titans: Live Score and Analysis for Houston
All signs point toward a win for the Houston Texans today over the Tennessee Titans.
Predicting wins and losses for the Texans over their first seven games has been pretty easy. They've defeated teams with bad quarterbacks and lost to teams with good quarterbacks (or at least quarterbacks who are better than their own signal-caller).
Every quarterback on the Titans' roster would fall into the "bad quarterback" category, but the Texans' defense should be licking its chops to get a piece of rookie sixth-round draft pick Zach Mettenberger, who will be making his first NFL start today.

In college, Mettenberger tended to be a quarterback who held on to the ball a little too long and had a slow delivery, which could mean that J.J. Watt and Jadeveon Clowney are in for a big day.
Even with more experienced quarterbacks under center, the Titans' offense through seven games still ranks low in most offensive categories. So far in 2014, it ranks 27th in points scored, 28th in passing yards and 25th in passing touchdowns.
The Titans have performed equally poor on defense, ranking 21st in passing yards allowed, 22nd in rushing yards allowed and 23rd in points allowed.
On paper, this game seems like a lock for the Texans, but all fans of the Texans should know by now to never take anything for granted.
Win or lose, either way it's a shame that a game in what should be a great rivalry has no steam or buzz behind it since the two teams come into the game with a 5-9 combined record.
