Luis Suarez Will Start on Debut for Barcelona vs. Real Madrid

Barcelona didn't sign Luis Suarez to sit on the bench, and the club confirmed Saturday the Uruguay international will start on his official debut in the Clasico against Real Madrid.

The Blaugrana shared Luis Enrique's starting XI on Twitter:

Enrique confirmed Friday that Suarez would play, although he was coy about Suarez's role, according to Sam Borden of The New York Times: "He will play some minutes. How many? That is the million dollar question. It is an important event for him, and he will have some time on the pitch."

Suarez joined the Catalan giants from Liverpool during the summer but was forced to sit on the sidelines for months following an incident during the 2014 World Cup, in which he appeared to bite Italy's Giorgio Chiellini.

Last year's Premier League and European top scorer (sharing the latter honour with Cristiano Ronaldo, via ESPN FC), there's no doubt the striker is one of the most gifted forwards on the planet.

He hasn't played a match of top-level football in months, however, and a matchup against the powerful Blancos at the iconic Estadio Bernabeu makes for a difficult debut.

Fans and pundits like The Sport Bible's Liam can't wait to see how he fares:

Suarez's inclusion means Barcelona's formation will likely see some minor changes, as Enrique abandons his 4-3-3 for a possible 4-3-1-2, with Neymar playing in a free role and Lionel Messi slotting behind the attacking duo.
