According to Alex Young of Goal.com, Balotelli is said to have "made verbal threats" toward the woman following the incident, which occurred at around 3 p.m. BST in Wythenshawe on Thursday.
Mike Keegan of BBC Sport provides further details of the incident in question:
Balotelli has a reputation for controversy both on and off the pitch, and has a history of matters involving the law both in England and his native Italy.
In May of this year, the then-Milan striker, along with brother Enoch, was involved in a brawl outside a nightclub, per Italian magazine Diva e donna (h/t Metro) after noticing his phone had gone missing on a night out.
