Victor Valdes Will Finish Rehab with Manchester United
Former Barcelona goalkeeper Victor Valdes will conclude his rehab from a knee injury with Manchester United after being offered the opportunity by manager Louis van Gaal.
The club confirmed the plan on its official site:
"Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal has offered the 32-year-old former Barcelona goalkeeper Victor Valdes a chance to complete his rehabilitation from a knee injury and to work his way back to fitness with the club.

James Pearce of the Liverpool Echo notes the free agent will train with United while he seeks a new contract once back to full strength:
Valdes was a stalwart for Barcelona for more than a decade. He appeared in more than 500 matches across all competitions, including 34 last term.
Sky Sports reported back in March that the initial timetable for his return from an ACL injury was seven months. It's reached that point, so it shouldn't come as much of a surprise that the veteran keeper is starting to ramp up his activity.
Whether he'll stay at Old Trafford beyond the simple training sessions is unclear. It's a no-risk situation for United, though. Having another experienced player at the position around the grounds, even for a short period, can only help David de Gea and Co.
