After years of hearing about the New York Knicks' Willis Reed taking on the entire Los Angeles Lakers team, there is finally footage that shows what happened on the court that night.
ESPN was able to find rare footage of the 1966 fight for 30 for 30: When The Garden Was Eden. The brawl started when Reed and Lakers forward Rudy LaRusso got tangled up. The Knicks center then turned into a man on a mission, as he tried to fight the entire Lakers squad.
To make the rare footage even better, Phil Jackson, Jerry West and, of course, Reed himself gave their thoughts on the brawl.
As the New York Post's Jonathan Lehman noted, Reed and LaRusso were fined $50 for their roles in the fight. That tells you how much the times have changed.
