Mike, Maurkice Pouncey Won't Face Charges for Alleged Nightclub Incident
NFL offensive linemen Mike and Maurkice Pouncey won't be charged after an alleged incident at a Miami area nightclub in July.
Omar Kelly of the Sun Sentinel reports the Miami-Dade Office of the State Attorney decided against filing battery charges after investigating claims made by three individuals after the twin brothers' birthday party at Cameo Nightclub.
The report included a statement from the brothers' attorney, who said there was never any truth to the accusers' story.

"This confirms that the previous claim that the brothers were involved was false and fabricated by individuals seeking notoriety and monetary gain," Jeff Ostrow said.
A total of three people hired a personal injury attorney following the incident. One apparent victim, Riquan James, claimed both the brothers and bouncers at the club were involved in a fracas that resulted in him needing 10 stitches.

Mike Pouncey, who plays in the area for the Miami Dolphins, and Maurkice Pouncey of the Pittsburgh Steelers had denied any wrongdoing throughout the process. The State Attorney's Office decided their wasn't enough evidence to file any formal charges.
The brothers aren't completely out of the woods yet, however. The Sun Sentinel report states they are still facing a civil lawsuit stemming from the situation.
