WWE 2K15: Latest Info and Predictions Ahead of PS3 and Xbox 360 Release
Wrestling fans and video game enthusiasts are two of the most loyal fanbases in the entire world, but on Tuesday, October 28, the two sides come together to get their hands on the release of WWE 2K15.
While the fans with Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3 consoles will be able to get their hands on the newest release in the WWE series this Tuesday, the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 users will have to wait until November 18 before the game is available.
The Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions of the game may not have all of the same bells and whistles the next-generation edition boasts, but there are still enough additions and upgrades to make the game a must-own for wrestling fans.

Predictions for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 Versions of WWE 2K15
Most Anticipated Wrestler Addition: Sting
While many fans are talking about The Wyatt Family or the surprise inclusion of former WWE Superstar CM Punk in this year’s game, the most important change to the roster is the addition of Sting.
For the younger fans who have not seen Sting in action, he is one of the most decorated wrestlers in history and is one of the few who never wrestled for the WWE. Instead, Sting was the face of the wrestling alternative for years, leading NWA, WCW and TNA to success during his long career.
Now he’s in WWE 2K15.
The fans don’t just get one playable Sting character, either. Sting started his career as surfer Sting, a light-hearted character with colorful face paint and a bleach-blonde flat-top haircut. Gamers will also be treated to The Crow version of Sting, adorned with long, black hair and black-and-white face paint.
Regardless of how you remember Sting, wrestling fans who watched the Superstar growing up are intrigued about the possibilities the game opens up in terms of feuds. As much as Sting vs. John Cena or Sting vs. Daniel Bryan would be intriguing, most gamers will book Sting vs. The Undertaker almost immediately.
For the fans who have never seen Sting wrestle and don’t know much about the legend, WWE 2K15 will act as a lesson in the history of the sport. Sting is one of the greatest wrestlers of all time, and it is great to see him in this year’s WWE game.
Now the company needs to sign him to a deal and let him wrestle at least once at WrestleMania.
Most Anticipated Story Mode: 2K Showcase
The most anticipated game mode for this year’s game is the new MyCareer mode, but unfortunately for gamers with Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, the mode is only available on the next-gen consoles.
All hope is not lost, though, as the 2K Showcase mode is available for all consoles.
The 2K Showcase mode is a combination of last year’s 30 Years of WrestleMania mode and WWE 13’s Attitude Era mode. The result is a focus on some of the biggest stars and their most interesting and unforgettable feuds.
Initially, there are only two storylines to follow in the 2K Showcase mode, including John Cena vs. CM Punk from 2011-13 and Triple H vs. Shawn Michaels from 2002-04. While that doesn’t seem like a lot, three more showcase modes will be available via the downloadable content upgrades.
The DLC Season Pass comes with three new 2K Showcase modes, including Christian vs. Randy Orton from 2011, a Mark Henry mode featuring his best matches and a full career retrospective on The Ultimate Warrior.
While hardcore gamers without next-gen consoles will feel slighted by the lack of a MyCareer mode in this year’s Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions of the game, 2K Showcase mode should keep the fans happy.
