Corey Crawford Injury: Updates on Blackhawks Star's Status and Return
Updates from Saturday, Nov. 1
Mark Polishuk of ESPN Chicago provides an update on Corey Crawford's status:
"The Chicago Blackhawks' goaltending situation has returned to normal, with Corey Crawford returning Saturday from a six-game injury absence and Antti Raanta back in his usual backup role.
The only issue now for Crawford is to approach Saturday's game against the Maple Leafs as a "normal" night at the rink.
"It's the same as always. You have to be careful to try not to do too much, [if you're] a little more excited than usual after not playing for a little bit. I'm just being careful not to overplay things," Crawford said.

Original Text
Corey Crawford has played quite well to start the season for the Chicago Blackhawks. Unfortunately, he'll be a man on the bench on Tuesday evening as he's currently dealing with an injury.
The team's official Twitter account provided the update:
Crawford has indeed started rather strongly, with a 3-0-1 record, a 1.66 goals-against average and a.926 save percentage. He's allowed just six goals in regulation, turning aside 88 shots in the process. Once considered an inconsistent goalie, Crawford was quite good for the Blackhawks last season, helping lead them to the Western Conference finals.
The Blackhawks are lucky enough to have a talented backup in Antti Raanta, so they should be in good hands while Crawford is sidelined. Still, the Blackhawks will be hoping they get their top option back in goal sooner rather than later.
