AJ Lee vs. Paige: Winner and Reaction from 2014 Hell in a Cell
WWE Divas champion AJ Lee defeated Paige once again Sunday night at Hell in a Cell to retain her title and perhaps end her long-running rivalry with WWE's Anti-Diva.
Their latest encounter marked the fourth pay-per-view in a row at which they did battle, and Sunday's victory gave AJ wins in three out of four bouts. As WrestlingINC notes, the champion made quick work of the challenger:

That said, Paige once again put on a strong show:
Many, such as WWE Creative Humor, were quick to point out that the match was higher up on the card than the Randy Orton-John Cena showdown for a reason:
The feud between AJ and Paige began the night after WrestleMania XXX. Paige attempted to congratulate the Divas champion on her title defense, but AJ ended up challenging the newcomer to a match. Paige shockingly won the title but relinquished it back to AJ upon her return from a hiatus a few months later.
They have traded the strap back and forth, but AJ has certainly had the upper hand as of late. Paige enlisted the help of Alicia Fox in order to get the better of AJ, and it worked to some degree when the champ struggled to find backup of her own:
Unfortunately for Paige, that wasn't enough to make her a three-time Divas champion at Hell in a Cell. With that said, she has a potentially career-changing project on the horizon.
According to WWE.com, the 22-year-old star will join the cast of Total Divas for the upcoming season in January.
That news was somewhat disconcerting for some of Paige's biggest fans due to the perception that Total Divas cast members aren't eligible to win the Divas Championship, per F4WOnline (h/t Wrestlezone).
In what was seemingly an effort to ease that concern, Paige posted a somewhat cryptic tweet:
Many viewed that as a potential hint that Paige would negate the Total Divas restriction by taking the title at Hell in a Cell. That didn't come to fruition, but Paige still looks very much like the future of the Divas division.
She has already won the Divas Championship on two occasions despite her young age, and she consistently has better matches than any other female on the roster. Her chemistry with AJ has been particularly good, but it will be interesting to see if she is able to elevate the other Divas as well.
As evidenced by a recent interview with FHM Malaysia, Paige appears to have the attitude and work ethic necessary to be one of the greatest women's wrestlers in WWE history.
"It definitely takes a lot of discipline and training but I would also include a lot of patience," Paige said. "I'll give you a piece of advice that The Rock gave me; 'stay hungry and humble.' That advice has had a huge influence on my attitude throughout my career."
Perhaps the one thing hindering Paige and even AJ at this point, though, is a lack of top competition within the Divas division. Aside from them, the only Divas on the roster who might be considered top-notch workers are Natalya and Naomi, but their characters have totally lacked development in recent months.
With that in mind, an infusion of talent from NXT could be on the horizon. NXT women's champion Charlotte has immense potential, as do fellow NXT Divas such as Bayley and Sasha Banks. There is definite talent coming through the pipeline, but WWE must learn how to cultivate it in order to keep the Divas on the main roster trending upward.
AJ and Paige have represented everything that is right with the Divas division over the past few months, but the onus is now on the creative team to ensure their success moving forward.
