Footage of Manchester United's executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward allegedly calling one of the team's players a "f-----g waste of money" has gone viral.

The footage was taken from Monday's night's 2-2 draw with West Bromwich Albion. A Vine user dubbed over the clip with the offending words above.
However, there is some dispute that Woodward did actually call out an unnamed player, with an alternative view being presented.

Woodward has helped manufacture a number of big-money signings for Manchester United in the last year.
Juan Mata, Marcos Rojo, Luke Shaw, Daley Blind, Angel Di Maria, Ander Herrera and Radamel Falcao have all come into the club over the course of the last 12 months, and they all featured against the Baggies.
Marouane Fellaini, signed for £27.5m last summer, also appeared off the bench in the game and scored in the 2-2 draw.
