Manchester City Transfer News and Rumours Tracker: Week of October 20

Rob PollardOct 20, 2014

Manchester City's league form is now beginning to gather pace, and with Sergio Aguero's fitness looking assured once again, their chances of success this season improve drastically.

Aguero scored all four goals against Tottenham at the weekend, with Manuel Pellegrini's men boosted by three straight league wins.

With the focus very much on on-field matters, transfer talk has been somewhat subdued in recent days, but here we gather together all of the rumours and gossip surrounding incomings and outgoings at the Etihad.

Pogba Deal Looks Dead

1 of 2

Juventus' outstanding French midfielder looks set to pen a new deal with the Italian champions.

The former Manchester United man is expected to sign a new four-year extension worth around £60,000 per week plus bonuses.

City Set for Ozil Move

2 of 2

Ben Jefferson at the Daily Express believes City could well be interested in taking Mesut Ozil from Arsenal should the midfielder be made available by Arsene Wenger.

The 26-year-old has recently been linked with a £30 million move to Bayern Munich, but Jefferson says City could make a move.

It would represent a significant loss on a player Wenger signed just over a year ago.
