USMNT Watch: Geoff Cameron and Terrence Boyd Make Long-Awaited Returns
After a fall characterized by a spate of injuries for many Americans playing abroad, the positive news for United States men’s national team fans this weekend was the return from injury of Americans Geoff Cameron and Terrence Boyd.
John Anthony Brooks also earned a recall to Hertha Berlin’s first team after being publicly called out by his manager and being sent down to the reserve team before the international break. Danny Williams and Aron Johannsson, who also both suffered from early-season injuries, are back training with their clubs.
On the negative side, Joe Corona broke his foot this weekend and will join fellow American Joe Gyau—who hurt his knee on national team duty—on the sidelines for an extended spell.
