According to David Kaplan, Chicago TV and radio broadcaster, Chicago Cubs pitcher Ted Lilly is headed to the DL. He had some insight into Lilly's arthrogram that took place on Friday.

Lilly, the team's only all-star, was putting up great numbers throughout the season. This will likely be a huge blow to the Cubs, who are all ready in catch-up mode.

Kevin Hart has already been penciled in to take Lilly's next start in the rotation.

Ted Lilly is scheduled to have knee surgery on Monday, the recovery time is approximately 3 weeks.
