Fabian Delph Injury: Updates on Aston Villa Star's Shoulder and Return
Aston Villa midfielder Fabian Delph will be sidelined for at least two months after dislocating his shoulder during training, according to the The Telegraph's John Percy.
The 24-year-old is in the middle of a breakout season and has been rewarded with a call-up to the England national team, but according to Percy it now appears his rise to the top of English football may be momentarily halted:
"The midfielder suffered the injury in an awkward fall in training and Villa's fears were confirmed on Friday when scans revealed he will need surgery.
Delph had already been ruled out of Saturday’s trip to Everton and Paul Lambert, the Villa manager, is now facing the prospect of being without him until the end of December.

Villa previously confirmed he would not feature against Everton via Twitter:
Delph's injury is a massive blow to both the Villans and the national team, with the latter counting on the tenacious midfielder for their European Championship qualifier against Slovenia in November.
Bleacher Report UK's Sam Tighe believes Villa have the pieces to cover for Delph, but won't understate how big of a blow it is for the club:
The Birmingham club have already had their fair share of injuries in the past few months, with Christian Benteke set to finally return to the pitch in a starting role and Ron Vlaar missing a good chunk of the early portion of the 2014-15 campaign.
