Bayern and Milan will both be playing under new managers, Louis van Gaal and Leonardo respectively. Massimo Oddo will also be back in the Allianz Arena after only two months away.
Players to Watch:
Oguchi Onyewu (Milan): He is the first American to play for Milan, and would love to be first choice as well. If coach Leonardo gives him a chance, he will want to prove himself against quality opposition.
Antonio Valencia and Michael Owen (Man Utd): Both these players are new signings and one of them has a particular point to prove. Valencia will want to show the world that he can indeed turn out to be a good signing. Owen, on the other hand, will want to prove that Alex Ferguson made no mistake in signing him, and that he still has a lot left in his locker.
Juan Riquelme (Boca Juniors): Riquelme doesn't need an introduction, the whole world is aware of his quality. Man Utd have to keep an eye on him if they want to progress to the finals.
Anatoliy Tymoschuk (Bayern): The former Zenit captain will surely be one of the starters for FCB. A lot is expected of him, he is a player who can strike the ball well and has good passing skills. Milan have to be wary of him.
The final and third place play-off will take place on the 30th of July. Who do you think will win?
