New Orleans Saints running back Khiry Robinson will miss Week 8 with an arm injury, the team confirmed Friday:
Undrafted out of West Texas A&M in 2013, Robinson has been a steal for the Saints. The one-cut battering ram stepped up and steamrolled his way to nearly 5.0 yards per carry in the playoffs a season ago, and he has continued to display that potential in 2014.
With Mark Ingram sidelined for three games earlier in the year, the bruising Robinson took 47 carries for 245 yards (5.21 YPC) and a score.

"He’s been fantastic, 100 percent focused,” head coach Sean Payton said, via ESPN.com's Mike Triplett. “He’s been a good teammate. He’s, shoot, everything we’d have hoped for and more, both on and off the field."
Sports Illustrated's Aaron Nagler put it simply:
The Saints, of course, have depth in the backfield to combat Robinson's injury, with Ingram and Travaris Cadet looking to split the workload.
Still, Robinson is an exciting player, and his presence will be missed if the injury turns out to be serious.
