Chelsea Transfer News: Eden Hazard Explains PSG Snub, Latest on Lucas Piazon
Chelsea's Eden Hazard is starting to make a habit out of explaining how he won't be joining Paris Saint-Germain over the past few months, but with transfer speculation refusing to die down, the Belgian winger once again pledged his allegiance to the Blues.
As shared by Dutch-language paper Het Laatste Nieuws' Kristof Terreur, Hazard remained diplomatic in his latest comments, pointing out how Ligue 1 was no longer a challenge for him after his successful period with Lille:

While he refused to call Les Parisiens a smaller club than Chelsea, he explained France was part of his past, not his present or future:
The 23-year-old dribbling sensation is once again enjoying a strong start to the season for the Blues, with his WhoScored.com rating of 8.02 for Premier League action ranking among the very best players at his position.
Bleacher Report's Richard Morgan recently ranked him in his list of the 20 most elusive dribblers on the planet, reminding everyone he's still only 23; there's still so much room for him to grow:
"Pint-sized Chelsea flyer Eden Hazard has been terrorising opponents with his vast array of skills for the past seven years now, and judging by the 23-year-old’s electric form for the west London club at the start of this campaign, the youngster is only getting better.
In fact, Blues head coach Jose Mourinho even described the Belgium international to ESPN as being “probably the best young player in the world with legs to go there” after one especially impressive display on the left wing at Manchester City last February.
"
His penetrating runs from the wing make him a nightmare to defend, and while the Belgium international won't consistently show up on the scoresheet, his mere presence and mobility out wide are incredibly important for the Blues.
Every time he cuts inside, it creates acres of space for the likes of Cesar Azpilicueta to exploit, and he has quickly built an understanding on the pitch with new signing Diego Costa.
PSG would love to have a player of his caliber in their ranks, and with Hazard still being wildly popular in France, it makes sense the French champions continue to push for his signature.
Hazard has made it very clear he has no intentions of leaving the Blues, however, and if he does, a move back to France seems more unlikely than a new challenge.
Eintracht Frankfurt are already talking about potentially extending the loan deal of Lucas Piazon, who joined the Bundesliga outfit during the summer and has made quite an impression on the coaching staff.
The young Brazilian has played regular minutes for his new club and thrived as a result, leading to Frankfurt general manager Bruno Hubner believing the Blues could be open to the idea of extending the current deal, per the London Evening Standard's Simon Johnson: "We will be looking to discuss things with Chelsea. Chelsea might hand him another loan year at our club. That would be what we are looking for because I think the Bundesliga is currently the best platform for Lucas Piazon."
The 20-year-old has been with Chelsea since 2012 but has had few chances to prove himself in the senior squad, leading to a multitude of loan deals. The club's strength in the attacking third means he might still have to wait for several years, and his obvious talent makes it hard to justify a sale.
Another loan move to Frankfurt could be the perfect solution, giving the youngster more consistent playing time in a competitive league.
