Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Vandervelde was on Philadelphia's roster last season, but was waived back in August when the team was cut to 75 players. The fourth-year player was on the field during 15 games for the Eagles last season, but never started.
Smith, who has played in five games for the Eagles this season, was a surprising cut for Eliot Shorr-Parks of NJ.com:
Vandervelde adds depth at the center position on a line that has been depleted by injuries this season. Having experience with the team, he should fit in perfectly and help when necessary.
With Jason Kelce still dealing with an injury, Vandervelde has experience and the trust of the coaching staff to help. The Eagles offensive line looked much better against the New York Giants and should come out of the Week 7 bye with more confidence at the center position.
