Vincent Jackson Injury: Updates on Buccaneers Star's Groin and Return
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers' receiving corps has seen a shift this season with rookie Mike Evans dominating and that was on display in the team's regular-season finale after Vincent Jackson exited due to a groin injury.
The Buccaneers announced Jackson was doubtful to return shortly after the injury occurred. He was later downgraded to out.
Jackson has dealt with various minor issues over the years, but usually finds a way to suit up on Sundays. He's played in at least 15 games in seven of the past eight seasons. With Tampa Bay fighting for the top pick in the 2015 draft, it only made sense for the team to be cautious with the star receiver.

The 31-year-old wideout previously dealt with wrist and rib injuries during the earlier stages of this season. He didn't miss any games as a result, though.
His durability has been a vital asset for the Bucs. The team drafted Evans to provide some support in the passing game, but the group as a whole was still below average this season and could become a focal point for a mid- or late-round selection in the upcoming draft.
