Jamal Crawford Stares Down Trail Blazers Bench on Made Three-Pointer

Dan CarsonOct 13, 2014

Jamal Crawford did not admire his work Sunday.

The Los Angeles Clippers shooting guard dropped six three-pointers on the Portland Trail Blazers in their preseason matchup at the Moda Center. To say Crawford shot confidently would be an understatement.

He could scarcely be troubled to watch the ball go into the basket.

Pulling off the ultimate in-your-eye move, Crawford chucked up a triple in the fourth quarter and turned to look at the Trail Blazers bench before the ball even dropped.

Next Impulse Sports' John Ferensen spotted video of the ridiculous moment (skip to the 59-second mark for the swish).

Let's take a quick look and see just how certain Crawford was about this shot going in. Here is Crawford mugging the Trail Blazers, and here is the ball:

You'll notice the 34-year-old sharpshooter turned to the bench while the rock was still a cool four feet from the basket. That's confidence people can get behind.

Yup. Not a big deal. Just a veteran out here doing the Lord's work.

Unfortunately for Crawford, the Trail Blazers would hold on for a 119-114 win.
