Liverpool Transfer News and Rumours Tracker: Week of October 13
The British weather has taken a turn for the worse this week with temperatures plummeting and winter feeling very much around the corner.
It won't be long until clubs assess their options for the January transfer window, and Liverpool may look to several key areas to strengthen after a nervous start to the new Premier League campaign.
With speculation fluctuating from hot and cold, we'll be keeping this slideshow updated throughout the week with the latest Liverpool transfer rumours.
Andre Ayew

Ghanaian international Andre Ayew has been linked with Liverpool for some time and this week David Wright of the Daily Express report that Liverpool, along with Arsenal, Manchester United and Tottenham have all taken interest in signing the winger-cum-striker.
Ayew's contract with Marseille expires at the end of the current campaign, whilst January could see a club get a potential bargain if they come in with an offer for the 24-year-old.
Wright's article in the Daily Express quotes Ayew as saying:
"The Premier League is a league every player dreams about.
The English league is the one most followed in Ghana. It's true that I have a real preference for England.
I like everything about it; the atmosphere, the game, the fans. There is a lot of intensity. It is a beautiful championship.

Victor Valdes

Reports on Saturday suggested former Barcelona goalkeeper Victor Valdes had rejected an offer from Liverpool for a four-day trial at the club, as per Neil Moxley of the Sunday People.
However, those claims were refuted by Valdes' agent, Gines Carvajal, on Sunday.
He told Spanish newspaper Sport, with quotes picked up by This Is Anfield: "This proposal was never made to us by Brendan Rodgers or Liverpool at any moment. Liverpool has not offered training [for] four days and we have refused, because it [the report] is false."
This transfer story seems to be back at square one, and with Valdes still recovering from a torn anterior cruciate ligament, it may not be coming to a conclusion any time soon.
